Our Health, Our Data: Community Roundtable
This September, in partnership with Understanding Patient Data, we will bring asylum and refugee communities alongside people representing organisations for an intensive day of codesign. Following 8 months of community led research, we will work together to coproduce materials that actively address the hopes, fears, experiences and recommendations emerging from the research conversations.

HPV Self-Sampling Study: An exploration into the perspectives of Muslim women across East London
14 of our Community Researchers from East London will be leading research conversation with Muslim women to explore their attitudes, hopes, fears and perceptions of HPV Self-Sampling. Our Research Sprint starts on 7th September 2026. We will reach 100 women living in Tower Hamlets, Newham and Redbridge. In partnership with QMUL who will be interviewing healthcare professionals. Funded by Barts Seed Fund.

Artist in Residency
The People Street Team are delighted to welcome artist and creative Jo Wood. Jo will be undertaking a 12-month residency. We are constantly striving for creative and participatory methods that bring our work and impact to a range of people. For the next 12 months we are exploring how images can support us to capture and make meaning of all our work. We are playing with the idea of knowledge production and epistemological traditions. We are not satisfied that dominant, normative practices are inclusive and accessible. Watch this space!
